Why does it matter who you are buying from?

A nail printer is a capital purchase, not an impulse buy. The O'2Nails V11 is $2,999 CAD and the O'2Nails X12.5 is $5,999 CAD. That puts it in the same bracket as a good pedicure chair, and it is the kind of purchase where the seller matters as much as the specification sheet.

A prospective buyer recently told us that before he would spend that kind of money he went looking on our website to find out who was actually behind the company, and did not find enough to satisfy him. In his words, it is a simple check to run “because it is an expensive business,” and what he wanted from us was security. He was right, and this page exists because of that conversation. Everything below is checkable.

Who is NailPrinter.ca?

NailPrinter.ca is the official and only authorized North American distributor of O'2Nails nail printers. We sell, train on, warranty and repair the O'2Nails V11 and the O'2Nails X12.5 across Canada and the United States.

We have been operating for three years. In that time we moved from selling machines one at a time to running a structured onboarding programme, holding parts, and maintaining a direct working line to the factory that builds the hardware.

We do not publish the names of individual staff for privacy reasons. That does not mean you deal with a nameless queue: every buyer gets direct phone access to the same small team that trains and supports them, and you can speak to that team before you spend a dollar.

What does “official North American distributor” actually mean?

It means there is a written distribution agreement between NailPrinter.ca and O'2Nails, the manufacturer. It is a contract, not a marketing phrase we adopted, and we will show it to a serious buyer who asks.

In practice, being the authorized distributor changes four things that matter to you:

• We can honour the warranty. A 12-month parts-and-labour warranty is only worth something if the seller can actually obtain parts and is contractually permitted to service the machine. We can do both.
• We can get parts quickly. Because we deal with the factory directly rather than through a chain of intermediaries, parts can typically be sourced within days rather than months.
• We can train you. Every buyer is enrolled in a 10-week live online onboarding course and gets two additional one-hour one-to-one sessions, redeemable whenever they are needed.
• We can keep the machine out of the salon next door. We generally give about 25 miles of exclusivity around a buyer's location. This is a commercial practice, not a franchise and not a legal grant of territory — ask us what the situation looks like in your area before you buy.

Who actually manufactures the machine?

The machines are manufactured in China by O'2Nails, who hold the patents there. We do not hide that, because it is the reason this technology exists at this price at all. O'2Nails has been building nail printers longer than almost anyone in the category, and the engineering behind the print head and the transport mechanism is theirs.

NailPrinter.ca's role is to be the North American end of that relationship: importing, certification paperwork, training, warranty service, parts, and a phone number in your own time zone. Our relationship with the factory is direct and long-standing, which is why a parts request goes to the people who made the part rather than to a reseller's help desk.

The machines carry CE marking for electrical safety and power requirements, and are sold in roughly 150 countries.

Have real people actually bought from you?

Yes, and we are early in this market in North America rather than pretending otherwise.

7. Check the domain. The only storefront we operate is nailprinter.ca. Checkout runs on Shopify's payment infrastructure, not on a bank transfer to a personal account.
8. Ask a hard technical question and time the reply. Ask about ink cost per set, cartridge yield, voltage abroad, or what happens if the print head fails in month nine. The speed and specificity of the answer tells you what support will feel like later.

What if I buy the same machine cheaper on Amazon or AliExpress?

Grey-market units do turn up on marketplaces, and the hardware in the box may even be genuine. What is missing is everything around the hardware.

To be plain about it: we cannot honour a warranty on a machine we did not sell. That is not a punishment, it is simply how distribution agreements work. If you are comparing prices, compare the full package, not the sticker.
