90-Day Returns: What If It Doesn't Work for My Business?
Every nail printer bought from NailPrinter.ca comes with a 90-day no-questions-asked return. If the machine does not work out for your business, you send it back within 90 days and we refund you — you do not have to justify the decision or pass a test. The only condition is that the machine comes back undamaged and complete, with its parts and accessories. We cover return shipping within Canada and the United States.

What is the 90-day return, exactly?
You have 90 days from delivery to return the machine for a refund. There is no questionnaire, no retention call and no requirement to demonstrate that you tried hard enough. If you want to send it back, you send it back.
In the words we use on the phone: it is 90 days now, no questions asked — three months, because a lot of people want to test their business model. As long as the machine is not beaten up and it is complete, that is the whole policy.
This applies to both machines: the O'2Nails V11 at $2,999 CAD and the O'2Nails X12.5 at $5,999 CAD.
Why 90 days and not 30?
Because 30 days does not test a business. It tests a novelty.
Thirty days is long enough to unbox a machine, print on your own hands a few times, show it to two friends and put it back on the shelf. It is not long enough to find out whether people in your area will pay for printed nails, what to charge, which designs sell, or how the service fits into your existing appointment book.
Ninety days is a full quarter. In a quarter you get:
- A real client base. Enough repeat customers to see whether people come back for it or treat it as a one-off.
- Seasonality. A quiet stretch and a busy stretch, rather than a single flattering week.
- At least one event. A wedding, a market, a party, a school formal — the kind of booking where printed nails either earn their keep or do not.
- Pricing iteration. Time to raise your price, lower it, bundle it, and see what actually converts.
- Your own honest verdict. Enough time to know, rather than guess, whether this belongs in your business.
We would rather you took the full quarter and made an informed decision than kept a machine you resent because a 30-day window closed before you had a chance to find out.
What condition does the machine have to be in?
Two conditions, and they are the only two:
- Undamaged. The machine has not been dropped, crushed, submerged, opened up, or otherwise beaten up. Normal use marks are fine — this is a working tool and we expect it to have been used.
- Complete. The parts and accessories that came with it come back with it: the printer, the power adapter, and the accessories in the original packing.
Consumables are a different category from hardware. If you are not certain whether something in your box counts, ask us before you ship rather than after. We would far rather answer the question in advance than have you find out at the wrong end of a courier journey.
Keep the original box if you can. It is not a condition of the return, but it is the safest way to get the machine back to us in the condition it needs to be in.
How does a return actually work, step by step?
- Email or call within 90 days of delivery. hello@nailprinter.ca or +1 506-436-7731. Tell us your order number and that you want to return the machine. You do not need to explain why.
- We confirm your window and give you return instructions. We check your delivery date against the 90 days and tell you exactly where to send the machine.
- We arrange the return shipping. For returns from within Canada and the United States, we cover it.
- You pack the machine. Original box if you have it, plenty of padding if you do not, and all the parts and accessories inside.
- We receive and inspect it. We check that it is undamaged and complete. This is a condition check, not a hunt for reasons to say no.
- We refund you. The refund goes back to the original payment method.
If anything about the inspection raises a question, we will call you and talk about it before we do anything else. You will not receive a silent partial refund with no explanation.
Do you cover return shipping?
Within Canada and the United States, yes — we cover the return shipping on a 90-day return.
If your machine is outside North America, the return is still available to you, but you may need to help cover the cost of shipping it back from that country. We say this plainly on our international use page too, because it is the sort of thing that should never be a surprise.
How is a return different from a warranty claim?
They are two different things and people mix them up constantly. The short version: a return is for when the machine works fine but the business does not. A warranty claim is for when the machine itself fails.
| 90-day return | 12-month warranty | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is for | You have decided the machine is not right for your business | The machine has developed a fault |
| Window | 90 days from delivery | 12 months from delivery |
| What you get | Your money back | A repair at no cost — parts and labour |
| Do you keep the machine? | No, it comes back to us | Yes, we fix it and send it back to you |
| Reason required? | None | A description of the fault |
| Shipping | Covered by us within Canada and the US | Covered by us within North America, both ways |
They also overlap. During your first 90 days you have both: if the machine breaks in week six, that is a warranty repair and your return window is still open. Full detail on the repair side is on the warranty page.
What if my business model does not work?
This is the real question underneath every other question on this page, so let us answer it directly rather than dance around it.
You might buy this machine and find that your clients do not want printed nails. You might find that your area will not pay what you need to charge. You might find that it does not fit the way you actually work. Any of those outcomes is possible, and none of them makes you bad at your job.
What the 90-day return does is put a floor under the downside. The worst realistic case is that you spend a quarter finding out, learn something specific about your market, and get your money back. That is a very different risk profile from a purchase you are stuck with.
Do the maths before you buy, not after. Work out how many sets a week you would need at your own prices to make this worth owning. The ROI calculator will do the arithmetic with your numbers rather than ours. Any figure it produces is an illustration, never a promise — results vary by business, pricing, local demand, and execution.
Two things reduce the odds of a return more than anything else, and both are included: use the 10-week live onboarding course, and book your two one-to-one hours. Most people who conclude the machine does not work for them within 90 days never printed on clip-ons or press-ons, which is where a lot of the actual money in this category sits.
What happens after the 90 days?
The return window closes and the warranty keeps running. You still have the balance of your 12-month parts-and-labour coverage, you still have your one-to-one training hours if you have not used them, and you still have direct phone access to the team.

Frequently asked questions
Can I return a nail printer if it does not work for my business?
Yes. NailPrinter.ca offers a 90-day no-questions-asked return on the machine. You do not need to give a reason, and the only condition is that the machine comes back undamaged and complete.
How long is the return window on a nail printer?
90 days from delivery. That is three months, chosen deliberately so buyers have a full quarter to test their business model rather than a single month.
Do I have to give a reason for returning the machine?
No. The 90-day return is no questions asked. You email or call within the window and we start the return.
What condition does the machine have to be in to be returned?
Undamaged and complete. Normal signs of use are expected and fine. The machine must not have been dropped, crushed, submerged or opened up, and the parts and accessories that came with it must come back with it.
Who pays return shipping on a nail printer return?
NailPrinter.ca covers return shipping for returns from within Canada and the United States. For a return from outside North America the owner may need to help cover shipping from that country.
How long does a refund take?
We refund to your original payment method once the returned machine has arrived and passed a condition check. If anything about the inspection raises a question, we call you before taking any other action.
Is the 90-day return the same as the warranty?
No. The 90-day return is for when the machine works but the business does not, and it gives you your money back. The 12-month warranty is for when the machine itself develops a fault, and it gives you a free repair covering parts and labour. During your first 90 days you have both.
What happens after the 90 days are up?
The return window closes but the 12-month parts-and-labour warranty continues, along with any unused one-to-one training sessions and direct phone access to the team.
