Nail Printer Warranty: 1 Year Parts & Labour, and Who Actually Fixes It
Every O'2Nails nail printer bought from NailPrinter.ca carries a 12-month warranty covering both parts and labour. If the machine develops a fault within that year, you send it back to us at no cost to you, we fix it at no cost to you, and we send it back — we cover shipping both ways within North America. Consumables such as ink cartridges are not covered, and neither is accidental damage. Because we are the authorized North American distributor with a direct factory relationship, replacement parts can typically be sourced within days.

What does the nail printer warranty cover?
The warranty runs for 12 months from delivery and covers parts and labour — both, not one. That distinction matters, because plenty of equipment warranties in this price range cover the part and then bill you for the technician's time, which can turn a free repair into a few hundred dollars.
Under our warranty a covered repair costs you nothing. Not for the part, not for the labour, and not for shipping within North America. To quote how we describe it on the phone: we will fix it at no cost to yourself — you just send it back to us at no cost and we will fix it and send it back to you.
The warranty applies to both machines: the O'2Nails V11 at $2,999 CAD and the O'2Nails X12.5 at $5,999 CAD.
What is covered and what is not?
| Covered under the 12-month warranty | Not covered |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing defects in the machine | Ink cartridges and other consumables, which wear out by design |
| Component failure under normal use | Accidental damage — drops, crush damage, liquid ingress |
| Print mechanism and internal electronics faults | Damage from using a non-original or incorrect power supply |
| The original power adapter | Damage from unauthorized repair or opening the machine up |
| Labour — the technician's time on a covered repair | Cosmetic wear from ordinary use |
| Shipping both ways within Canada and the United States | Machines not bought from NailPrinter.ca |
On consumables specifically: ink cartridges are supplies, not parts. A cartridge running out is the machine working correctly, not failing. If a cartridge arrives faulty, that is a different conversation — tell us and we will sort it out.
On accidental damage: if you drop the machine, it is not a warranty claim, but it is not the end of the world either. Call us. We can usually still repair it and quote you a price, and because we source parts directly from the factory that price is generally far better than replacing the machine.
How do I make a warranty claim?
- Call or email us first. +1 506-436-7731 or hello@nailprinter.ca. Do not ship anything before you have spoken to us.
- Describe what the machine is doing. A photo or a short video of the fault is worth several paragraphs. A surprising number of reported faults turn out to be a setting, a cartridge seating issue, or a step in the app — and we would rather fix that on a five-minute call than have you post a working machine across the country.
- We confirm the claim and your coverage. We check your order and delivery date against the 12 months.
- We arrange shipping to us at no cost to you. Within Canada and the United States, that leg is covered.
- We diagnose and repair. Parts and labour on a covered fault cost you nothing. If we find something outside the warranty during diagnosis, we call you with a price before doing any work — you will never receive a surprise invoice.
- We ship the machine back to you. Also covered within North America.
Keep your order number and delivery date somewhere you can reach quickly. It makes step three take a minute instead of a day.
Who actually fixes the machine?
We do. NailPrinter.ca is the official and only authorized North American distributor of O'2Nails nail printers, and warranty service is part of that role rather than something we subcontract to whoever answers.
The machines are manufactured in China by O'2Nails, who hold the patents there. Our relationship with that factory is direct and long-standing, which is the practical reason this warranty means anything: a parts request goes to the people who built the part. In most cases parts can be sourced within days rather than the months a reseller with no factory line would need.
That is also why we ask you to call before shipping. The team that answers the phone is the team that knows the machine.
Does the warranty still apply if I take the machine abroad?
Yes. Taking the machine to another country does not void the warranty. The X12.5 power adapter is rated 100–240V, so it runs on 110V and 220V supply without a converter, and the machines carry FDA and CE certifications covering safety and power requirements in roughly 150 countries.
The honest caveat: our shipping coverage applies within Canada and the United States. If your machine needs a warranty repair while it is overseas, the parts and labour are still free, but you may need to help cover the cost of shipping it from that country to us and back. Full detail is on our international use page.
How is the warranty different from the 90-day return?
They solve different problems. The warranty is for when the machine fails. The return is for when the machine is fine but the business is not.
| 12-month warranty | 90-day return | |
|---|---|---|
| Trigger | The machine develops a fault | You decide it is not right for your business |
| Window | 12 months from delivery | 90 days from delivery |
| Outcome | Free repair — parts and labour | Refund |
| Machine ends up | Back with you, working | Back with us |
| Reason required | A description of the fault | None |
For the first 90 days you hold both at once. Details of the refund side are on the 90-day returns page.
What if I bought my machine somewhere else?
If you bought a nail printer from a marketplace listing, an overseas seller or an unauthorized reseller, we cannot honour a warranty claim on it. That is not a policy we invented to be difficult — it is how distribution agreements work everywhere, and it is the single most expensive detail buyers overlook when they compare prices.
What typically happens with a grey-market unit is that the machine fails, the marketplace seller has vanished or points at the manufacturer, the manufacturer points at the local distributor, and the owner is left with an expensive object nobody will service. We have taken those calls.
If you are in that position now, call us anyway. We may still be able to sell you parts or quote a paid repair, and we would rather help than lecture. What we cannot do is treat it as a warranty claim.
More on why the seller matters: who you are buying from.
What else is included with the machine?
- A 90-day no-questions-asked return, provided the machine comes back undamaged and complete.
- A 10-week live online onboarding course — ten live classes, run monthly, every buyer enrolled — plus two one-hour one-to-one sessions redeemable at any time. Roughly twelve hours of training covering machine setup, maintenance, replacing ink, using the app, loading designs, and printing on clip-ons and press-ons.
- Direct phone access to the team that supports the machines.
- A design library running to thousands of designs.
- Generally about 25 miles of local exclusivity around a buyer's location.
Good maintenance is the cheapest warranty there is. The onboarding course spends real time on cleaning and ink replacement precisely because most avoidable faults in this category come from neglected maintenance rather than bad manufacturing.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the warranty on an O'2Nails nail printer?
Twelve months from delivery, covering both parts and labour, on every machine bought from NailPrinter.ca.
Does the warranty cover labour or just parts?
Both. A covered repair costs you nothing for the part, nothing for the technician's time, and nothing for shipping within Canada and the United States.
Who pays shipping for a warranty repair?
NailPrinter.ca covers shipping both ways within North America. You send the machine to us at no cost, we repair it, and we ship it back to you.
Are ink cartridges covered by the warranty?
No. Ink cartridges are consumables and wear out by design, so they are not covered. If a cartridge arrives faulty rather than simply running out, contact us and we will resolve it.
Is accidental damage covered?
No. Drops, crush damage, liquid ingress, unauthorized repairs and damage from using the wrong power supply are outside the warranty. We can usually still repair the machine and will quote you a price before doing any work.
How do I make a warranty claim on a nail printer?
Call +1 506-436-7731 or email hello@nailprinter.ca before shipping anything. Describe the fault, ideally with a photo or short video. We confirm coverage, arrange shipping to us at no cost within North America, repair the machine, and ship it back.
How quickly can you get replacement parts?
Because NailPrinter.ca is the authorized North American distributor with a direct, long-standing relationship with the manufacturer, replacement parts can typically be sourced within days.
Will you honour a warranty on a nail printer I bought on Amazon or from an overseas seller?
No. We can only honour warranty claims on machines bought from NailPrinter.ca, the authorized North American distributor. We may still be able to sell you parts or quote a paid repair, so it is worth calling.
