Short answer: The X11 earned its premium over the V11 for salons positioning on aesthetics. Example model, not a customer test: this page walks through what 90 days with an X11 would look like for three example salon types. No customer results are claimed. It is no longer available — salons positioning on premium quality today should look at the V11 or the X12.5.
The example salons
Three example salon types (composites, not real customers):
- Salon A: boutique salon positioning on premium nail art
- Salon B: 4-chair urban salon, 90 sets/month, brand-event work for fashion clients
- Salon C: Solo bridal-specialist mobile, 45 sets/month, using the X11 as the station printer

Unboxing + setup (day 1)
Plan for roughly half an hour from box-opening to first print. The included quick-start card + the video tutorials at /pages/training cover setup, and the 30-minute onboarding call is there if you need it.
The X11 shipped with a rose-gold anodized aluminum chassis. Packaging is robust — internal foam cradles + sealed plastic protector.
Print quality at 30 / 60 / 90 days
With genuine cartridges and the monthly auto-calibration cycle, print quality should hold steady over the first 90 days. We have no customer ratings to publish for the X11.
Maintenance log
Three things to plan for over 90 days (example model):
Cartridge swap. Higher-volume salons swap cartridges sooner; a cartridge covers about 100 full sets. A swap takes about 90 seconds.
Nozzle calibration. Run the auto-calibration cycle once a month (about 30 seconds).
App updates. Expect occasional companion-app updates with new designs and fixes.
Client reactions
We have no customer quotes to publish for the X11. In an example model, the visible printer and the design range are what clients notice first, and the chassis matters most for salons that photograph their work.

The X11 is discontinued, so the takeaways below map onto the current lineup.
The X11 suited salons that:

- Produce social-media content where the printer is on-camera
- Serve bridal/event clients who photograph everything
What to buy instead:
- O'2Nails V11 — $2,999: the compact, mobile-friendly machine. Best fit for solo techs, mobile and bridal work, and salons that want the lowest entry point.
- O'2Nails X12.5 — $5,999: the flagship, built for high-volume and multi-chair studios where the printer runs all day.
