- Rent-to-Own is a payment plan for a physical machine, priced 20% above the outright cash price to cover our risk in shipping the machine day one.
- It is different from an ink subscription — ink auto-refill is a separate cancel-anytime arrangement.
- The machine ships after the first payment clears (today's checkout payment).
- You must complete the four scheduled payments to own the machine.
- Ownership transfers after the final scheduled payment clears.
- Missed payments may delay support, warranty processing, future shipments, or ownership transfer.
- This is not a cancel-anytime ink subscription.
- By checking out, you agree to the rent-to-own payment schedule and these terms.

Why is Rent-to-Own priced higher than buying outright?
The Rent-to-Own totals ($3,599 V11 / $7,199 X12.5) include a 20% premium over the outright cash price ($2,999 V11 / $5,999 X12.5). That premium covers our risk in shipping a $3k–$6k machine on day one and accepting payment over four months. If you want the lowest total cost, buy outright and use Affirm at checkout to split the standard price into monthly payments. Rent-to-Own makes sense if you want a no-credit-check structured plan from us directly.
Why does my cart only show today's $899.75 (or $1,799.75)?
Because that's the first of 4 scheduled monthly payments — only today's payment is collected at checkout. The cart line item shows the full schedule and total commitment as line-item details below the product name. The remaining 3 payments are invoiced to you monthly via Shopify.
Do I need to apply?
No. Choose your machine, add the Rent-to-Own plan to cart, and complete checkout.
Is Rent-to-Own the same as an ink subscription?
No. Rent-to-Own is a payment plan for a physical machine. Ink Auto-Refill is a separate cancel-anytime cartridge subscription.

The machine ships after your first payment clears — typically same-day or next business day.
When do I own the machine?
Ownership transfers after the final (4th) scheduled payment clears.
Can I cancel after the machine ships?
No. Because the machine ships upfront, Rent-to-Own is not a cancel-anytime subscription. You are agreeing to complete the scheduled payment plan.
Can I still buy the machine outright?
Yes. The V11 and X12.5 are available for full payment from the Shop page — cheaper total cost than RTO.
Do I still need cartridges?
Eventually yes — your $499 Startup Package ships with 2 ink cartridges good for ~2,400–3,000 prints (~240–300 full sets). After that, subscribe to Ink Auto-Refill separately.
